Wandering Hands Alumni

To get into the Hands you need to posess at least a certain amount of genius on the pitch. Failing that, you need to posess rather more genius off the pitch. Failing that, you need to be in the right place at the right time, i.e. when we've only got 13 players on a Sunday morning, or to be lucky, e.g. knowing a Hand who is too 'nice' to tell you that you are too shit to play. However, some Hands have shown genius in such exceptional quantities that they have won themselves some corner of an unknown website that is forever...um..the Hands website. This is the alumni page which is dedicated to the memory of those who have become so great that they probably can't remember the Hands. Except Special New Tim.

Josh Lewsey, England fullback and (future) British Lion Josh Lewsey has punched Tim Thorne in the face. Well done Josh. He has also played rugby for England. Click here for a review of Josh's impressive performance against Italy in 2003, in which he pays tribute to the Hands and acknowledges that they taught him almost everything he knows. Matt Cannon, Hong Kong 7s winner Matt Cannon played a couple of games for the Hands at scrum half, and scored lots of tries. He has also played 7s for England, and featured in the Hong Kong 7s-winning England side of 2003.
Ian Percy, Gold medal winning sailor Ian Percy played back row for the Hands and has also won gold for Great Britain in Sydney. Click here to see what the BBC had to say about all this nonsense. Special Needs'Special New' Tim Allen is a genuine dyed-in-the-wool Love Rat. Click here to see what The Sun and The Star had to say about his appearance on television's 'Blind Date' programme.
