Mr. Luke Bowery

Luke Bowery(4 caps, 2 cons) made regrettably few performances for the 00-01 side, but his most important contribution came in the finals, where he won the Turner prize for, among other things, a beautfully weighted kick that led to the only try of the game. Boasting a pedigree which includes having played for Oxford University 2nd XV, Luke's kicking always impressed, as did his confidence on the ball and strength in the tackle. Luke's hobbies include telling you that he won't be able to make it today and missing the tour because he had an exam 2 months later.

some Netball

Netball - Netball is a wonderful thing. The word 'netball' can be a verb, singular or collective noun, and an adjective. All netball are the same, and all netball are good, as Andy Warhol would have said. The Hands often need to be taught humility, and Netball are always there to do that for us. Although we ran them close a few years ago, last time out they beat us badly. At netball. But on other occasions they help to make us better - the bunch of Netball in this photo (the fittest players to ever put on Hands shirts) made us the intra-mural netball champs 2001. Not only this, but they swan around the Wedge looking nice, and sometimes they even kiss us. I you're reading this, 'Hullo netball'.
