The bedrock of any team is its non-playing chubby-chopped girlfriend-out-of-his-league fat funnyman referee Edward Fitzgerald. Whether “Ted” will receive his second “Tour Whinger” in a row, or his third award for “Man of the Tour Runner Up” next time round is entirely up to him, and he knows that this time, he really does. Ted is a good club man – he arranged our first ever tour game against Fetlor in 2000, and thus found himself on the wrong end of our best ever performance. In 2006 Fitz took the step down from Dirt Tracker to Tour Ref – good egg. Fitz used to play hooker.
